Craved for "dao sah beng" so bad the other day. So I went to The Summit Parade Batu Pahat to get some. Mana tau the shop sudah "chap lap"!!!!! I went around the floor it used to be in to see if it had shifted but it was up to no good.. =(

But there was a surprise discovery. I saw a music store playing this MV:

Whoa!! I never knew Batu's music sense could be so "in" wei!! Seeing that these gals aren't really that famous, I was really surprised that there are actually ppl in Batu (except for me) who knew them!!

Honestly, Malaysia's music sense is quite advanced. At least we Malaysians are kepo enough that we know most of the pop celebrities and songs on the market. Guess that's because the section most of us never miss when reading a newspaper is Entertainment. Am I not right? =)

Shopped for CDs in HMV Glasgow last time. The "Best-selling albums" were those that I listened to when I was in Taylor's!! Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating & etc.!!!!!! Kill me!! I wonder if it's a UK's or Glasgow's problem. Cause other European countries seem much better eh... When I was in Greece, I even heard Kenny G version of Jay Chow's "AnJing" song in their metro station!!! WOW!! So "in"!!

I chatted with some of our Glaswegian classmates during one boring EBM session. I opened my eyes big big & told them excitedly, "Oh Gosh!! Rihanna is coming to SECC!!!!!" Still remember clearly the "Huh?? Who's that?" expression on their faces and their polite smiles.

Ouch!! I was acting like a total idiot if not because one of them (only one!!) said in a as-a-matter-of-fact tone, "Oh, Rihanna.". Full stop!! And they turned to each other to discuss on the progression of their research project like nothing just happened!!! What??! Don't they even feel a bit bit excited that some huge celebrity is coming to their town??? Oh well, at least from being an idiot I was promoted to a retarded fella who cared more over American's music industry than my studies...

Why ah why ah? If Rihanna were to come to Batu Pahat, I would go all the way out to see her loh.. I mean, I am not a huge fan of hers lah. Not to mention that "Ella Ella Eh Eh" and the "Pls Don't Stop The.. Pls Don't Stop The Music" songs are rather retarded loh... XP It's the celebrity factor!! The "Oh wow!! I saw Rihanna live and took pictures of her!!!" factor!! No?

Halo ppl, it's me. This is probably gonna be my last post from Glasgow. Am finally going back Malaysia. Well, although I miss my family and Malaysia very very much, I must admit that I have developed a very special feeling towards Glasgow already.

Afterall, I have been here for nearly 14 months already since the 6th of June, 2007. Time does fly. Deep in my mind, I can still vividly see myself arriving in Glasgow and being greeted by a bunch of kind seniors in the airport. And now, I am leaving this place that I love in less than 16 hours time.

Yes, I do love Glasgow. Yes, I have been through ups and downs within these 14 months of time, but mostly it's the happy times that I remember. Yes, some Glaswegians can be a total jerk at times, but they are the minority. Most of them are warm and friendly. They greet u with a sincere smile even if u are a total stranger with a different skin colour. Yes, it's like a kampung and there aren't many attractions here, but I still find Glasgow beautiful.

I am so gonna miss the time I spent in the university, be it in the lecture halls or in the labs. I am so gonna miss all my dearest IMU mates who flew all the way here together with me. I am so gonna miss walking around in the city centre at 12 o'clock in the afternoon and not shedding a single drop of sweat. I am so gonna miss walking around with my sling bag and not having to look out for snatch thief. I am so gonna miss Haggis and Irn Bru!!!!! Hahaha... =)

Went out walking around alone this afternoon. Took pictures of Buchanan Street and George Square. Felt very lonely all of sudden. Most of my frens would scatter all over Malaysia. Some in other countries. Wonder when we will meet up again? Sad sad sad!!! =(

I guess it's about time for me to grow up and be fully responsible towards myself. Gosh!! No more student discount!! No more spending pama's money without feeling guilty!! No more staying up late and waking up in the noon!! Hello stressful working life!! Hello RM3500 per month!! Hello on-call!! Hello night shift!! Hello working on weekends!! Hello sleeping 6 hours everyday!!!!! XP XP XP XP XP

Oh well, will think about those later and enjoy these few weeks till gao gao first. Hello Char Kway Tiao!! Hello Nasi Lemak!! Hello Curry Fishhead!! Hello Mamak Stalls!! Hello Mommy's cookings!! Bye Bye Western Foods!!!!! XD XD

Okie lah. I gotta go bathe and pack my stuffs now. The next time I blog, I would be in Singapore already. Not going back Malaysia straight. Would spend some time hanging out with my sis in Singapore. Halo, peeps!! It's me!! Okay okay... Before u start throwing rotten eggs at me for deserting my blog, let me explain myself first.

So as u all know, I was busy preparing for final year degree exam ma. Super stressed loh... Somemore after that kanasai CPP paper, I kinda like insaf already lah. Scared of failing ma... So I made sure I studied properly lah...

And then hor, so "happy" wei!! The day after PharmCare paper, I fell sick. Fever + body aching. So I thought it was probably caused by deprivation of sleep loh. So I rested and woke up the next morning feeling super refresh!! BUT, I noticed several blisters of unknown origin on my face and on my body. I accidentally broke a few of them tim!!

Then, I noticed one super big blister right under my breast. Housemates all kena chicken pox before and they suspected that I was infected by this stupiak Vericella Zoster virus lah. Since I had to sit for ADD exam in few days time, I got kinda worried. So we called up NHS24, hoping to get some antiviral injection like we have back in Malaysia to suppress the infection loh.

Because the infection was still in early stage, I had no fever nor numerous number of blisters. So Nurse Jie Jie asked me to observe for another day loh.

So I observed. But as the day goes by, I feel more weak, feverish and malaise. I couldn't concentrate on studies at all. The number of blister has increased a lot as well. It was 18th of May, which means I was left with 2 more days to study for ADD only. I couldn't afford to waste that 2 days away, too!! I needed to know what was happening to me.

So, I called up NHS24 again, and asked for an emergency appointment, threatening them that if I don't get proper treatment, I may spread the infection to everyone in the exam hall. But that uncle wasn't very friendly lah, and he told me even if they arranged for an emergency appointment, there was nothing they can do as well.

He let me talked to a nurse and that Nurse Aunty asked if I had taken any medication. Told her I didn't lah. Was thinking, it's viral infection what, what can I take? Then u know what? That Nurse Aunty said, "That's kinda silly!! U should have taken some pain killers!! That would have suppressed ur fever!!". And then I was like "Duh!!! Of course I know I can take Paracetamol, but as a pharmacist (cheh wah..) I know it provides symptomatic relief only!! No doubt it will make me feel much better, but the severity of my disease will be masked, too!! Not to mention I wasn't even sure if it was chicken pox or not..."

Of course I didn't argue with her lah. I just "yeah yeah yeah..." and so the only advice she gave me was, "Take Paracetamol". That's it. Kinda depressing lah... But I popped down 2 Paracetamol nonetheless.

But around 15 minutes later, someone called me on my handphone. Thinking back now, most probably it was my GP le. He asked me about my condition and I kinda begged for an appointment plus threatened him about spreading the disease again. So, finally he told me I could take a taxi to go to the Western Infirmary Out of Hour Centre if I want for Royal Infirmary was already closed for the day. He would transfer my information to Western Infirmary.

I was super duper uncomfortable already so I decided to go even though Western Infirmary was around Kelvongrove area. So housemates helped me to call a cab and Cheah Voon teman me there. I looked sooooooooo fugly wei... with hair tied up and fringe held back with a hairband. EeewWW!!!!!

But the healthcare system here really super efficient lah. I just "erm..." only the uncle at the reception already said "U called, right? U can wait for the doctor in the waiting room over there" and gave me a big smile. Wah... Warm dao~

So after much waiting, I was finally seen by a nurse who took my case note down, and then by this doctor called Dr. Rowland. She looks freaking knowledgeable wei!! Got a bit of PP3 AB feel, but of course she looked much kinder than AB lah. Super duper friendly. So so soOOOO nice wei. Fell in love immediately.. XD

So she touched touched the blisters and confirmed that it was chicken pox infection. One thing weird is that there was no medication that she could give to suppress the infection!! How come ah? I thought UK is supposingly more developed than Malaysia? The jab is like so common back in Malaysia, isn't it? Hmm... Anyway, she told me she would call up the University to discuss about my condition but when I asked her if she knew which university I was studying at, she said no. Errrmmm.... Well, maybe she has that in her record I suppose?? If not how's she gonna call lah???

Because the blisters weren't itchy at the time, so she only prescribed me with Calamine aqueous cream and told me I didn't even have to pick the prescription up if the blisters didn't give me any problem. No antihistamine whatsoever was given. My temperature was 38.1C after 2 Paracetamol tablets and so Dr. Rowland asked me to continue taking them loh...

So, I went back home and the taxi fare to and fro cost me 12 pounds!!!!! Wah lao eh!!! Chee sin one!! What to do? I really needed to find out what was wrong with me le. So that I could study in peace... I know it sounds nerd lah, but really super distress wei that time. Didn't even manage to study 1 single chapter!!

The next day there were a lot more blisters and the blisters got super duper itchy lah. So, Su Ann helped me to pick up the Calamine cream. Mak Dia!! Tipu orang punya!!! At night, the cream dried up and made the itch even worse!!! I tak boleh tahan dy. Since I have got some antihistamine myself, I popped one down even though I knew it would make me drowsy and unable to study. The itch was killing me!!! However, besides causing drowsiness, the antihistamine had no other effect on me. I had a very unpleasant night. Insomnia...

The next day was the last day to study before ADD exam. I tried very hard to concentrate but it was really difficult. I felt lethargic all the time. In the end, I couldn't finish studying. I was so worried that I was gonna fail....

I notified Carol and Prof. Sue regarding my condition the moment I got back from Western Infirmary. So they arranged for me to take the exam in quarantine. Hmm.. not really that stressful, but the examiner very de blur lah!! He started late and ended early!!! Somemore there was one page missing from my exam paper. Dots... He got it solved halfway through the exam.

I felt sooooooo relief after the exam even though I did kinda bad. Finally I could rest!!! I had to force myself to stay strong and study in spite of the extreme tiredness and itch I was suffering from. Felt so much like giving up. Kinda had the thoughts of "I would rather drop dead now than to continue living like this". Exhausted wei...

So after exam, I just stayed at home to recuperate loh. Lethargic wei. Slept till 12p.m. everyday. XD Quite sien lah sometimes but what to do? I was not supposed to go out le. Takkan spread the infection to the whole world meh? Moreover I looked like a freak with those blisters all over my face and body lah. Super disgusting wei... Somemore Chinese believes that when u have chicken pox, u are not supposed to get urself exposed to the wind... Haha...

But I am soooooooooo very lucky that I have a bunch of caring frens. They took care of me well, teman me to go see doctor, helped me to pick up prescription, came over to visit and accompany me, bought me all the necessities, cooked me lunch and dinner on daily basis eh!!!!! Those who haven't kena chicken pox before also called me up to send me regards. I am soooooooooooooooooooo touched!!!!! Wu wu wu...

I really think I don't deserve all the love that u all have shown me lah... I am such a sucky person and I know that!!! Feel so paisay. I was like so useless... Couldn't do anything... You all handled everything and cared so much for me... I am really speechless lah.. Really don't know how to express my gratitude besides saying "thank u!" to all of u lah... Really, thank u!! I truly truly appreciate what u all have done for me and I will remember all these in my heart forever and ever.

The infection is more than 10 days old dy. According to Yahoo! Health, it's not contagious anymore. Hehe... so, till then, don't miss me too much, peeps!!!!! Will blog about KT's gig in SECC soon!! I know everyone is super duper freaking farking (oops!) stressed up at the moment. Thanks for willing to spare ur precious time out just for ME!!!!!

Seriously, I am very-very^(a billionth times) thankful and touched. Really didn't expect anything. Was jamming my iPod so loud while Gene-Therapy-ing when housies blind-folded me!! Didn't even hear them entering my room!!! Gosh... XD

So, yeah. It was indeed a pleasant surprise!! Happy Happy~~ =D

And u all even prepared the pressies already!! Oh my!! Feel very bad lah... to make u all shop around for my pressies during this supposed-to-be-studying time... Paisay paisay... I HEART them all so so so so so much!!!!! Of course not because of the brands lah!! I'll treasure them all as long as they are from u ppl, even if they are from the Pasar Malam brands, ok? Lol... =)

I'd have offered to give free tuition as compensation IF I have the brain of Suok Teng or have finished studying like her & housemates. But knowing me hor, u all should know what kinda progression I'm making now lar... HAHAHA... XP

Many thanks are especially dedicated to those who have to resit PP3. I understand how stressful it must have been for u all. I'm very sorry if the celebration had made u all even more stressful than before!!!!! Sincere apologies... I have wished for the entire P105 batch to graduate together. So, we shall all be holding our mortar and prestle together this coming June, alright? Don't worry! Am sure u all can definitely make it this time!! Jia you!!! =)

I'm truly blessed for having u all... I know I am a sucky person sometimes, well, MOST of the time. I really don't deserve all the kindness and loves that u all have given me. Thanks for tolerating and forgiving me over & over again... I am very sorry if I ever made u all felt "beh song" or "tulan" with me. Hahaha.. But really, thanks for sayang-ing me so much... =)

This is my one & only birthday celebration in Glasgow with my dearest P105 batchmates. I'm cherishing every moment of it. I promise that I will save them all into my memory bank and relive these moments (minus the studying & exam parts) over & over again in the future.

Hey, peeps!! Am back from trip!! Touched down on the 14th actually but I was too lazy to blog. Tee hee hee.. Sorry lar.. =P Anyway, it was an awesome trip!! Anyway, I went to KT's gig in SECC last night!! OH MY GOSH!!!!! It was fantastic let me tell ya.. I'm still not over that KT's fever that I have since after the gig. WooHoO~ Waiting to compile the photos Hanseloon took with mine. And I PROMISE that I'll definitely post an entry on this gig when the compilation is done 'cause KT was sOooOOooOoO amazing that it would not do her justice if I don't blog about it! So, watch out for that post, peeps!! =D

And btw, I dunno what happened but stupiak Imeem transformed my Aly & AJ's song "Division" into the 30seconds preview version. Kepo betul, right?!! I really don't like that 30secs whatsoever thingy. So, I might remove that song anytime soon. Cherish it when it's still on, aight? It's a beautiful song... =)

Okay. Enough of emo stuffs. Decided to post another entry since this would most probably be the last time I blog before I set off to Brussels (and later on Amsterdam) tomorrow. Cannot be so irresponsible to leave an emo post as the last entry. Otherwise u peeps would come across this emo entry and get rather depressed as well whenever u check back to see if I have updated my blog.

Probably posting up an "happy" entry would make myself feel better, too. So, here u go! I have got something happy to share with u peeps!

I'm going to Brussels with Cheah Cheah Voon, Ah Bi Bi, and Law Mai Fan tomolo! Will touch down at about 2.45p.m. and we will take a train to Amsterdam immediately. Most probably will arrive around late evening. So, what else to do but visit the Red Light District??!!! Huhuhu... Super Sexcited-nya!!~ =P

Will follow a day tour to visit the windmill, clog factory, cheese factory, fishing village & etc. on the second day. Heineken former brewery is closed to public until 2010! Kanasai eh!! So unfair to us alcoholics!! XD Anyway, will try to visit one of the main museums after coming back from the day trip.

Then, on the third day, we will visit another one of the main museums in the morning. After that, it would be the highlight of this trip, i.e. to the tulip festival in Keukenhoft Garden!!! OoohH la la~~ I can't wait!! Tulips are so beautiful and elegant!! =D Will try to make it to another museum after visiting the tulips garden. Hehehe...

Will cycle around the city in the morning on the fourth day. Then, we will catch a train back to Brussels. Well, basically we have yet to figure out what to do in Brussels. But, given our aunty nature, I guess we would probably spend most of our time hopping from one flea market to another ba. Kakaka... Might take up the river cruise as well!! Hehe.. =)

Will come back to Glasgow on the 14th morning. U can come to the Prestwick airport to welcome us if u wish to, but I don't guarantee a souvenir for ya though. XD XD

OH YA!! I was sooooo freaking happy this afternoon!! I finally received the tickets to KT Tunstall's gig in SECC on this coming 19th of April!! WooHoo~ She's such a great live performer.. I can't wait!! =D Let me show off a few pictures of the tickets below. Kekeke... =P

It was 4:50a.m. this time... 4:50A.M.!!!!!

I just handed in my CPP essay 2 days ago and obviously I was tired like anything la. Was sleeping like a pig when the fire alarm went ringing like nobody's business. First thing came into mind..

"Wah liao!! Is this a prank ah?? Am I dreaming??"

Then realized that I wasn't and reluctantly dragged my heavy ass out into the cold winter night.. Left Ah Rein behind this time. No mood la.. Super cranky!! Afterall, I assumed it wasn't a real fire and so he most probably wouldn't be burnt to death one la.. Oopsy!! Sorry, Ah Rein!!! XP

Apparently it was the ang mohs staying in G3 unit again. This was their 4th time triggering the fire alarm liao eh!! Yet they didn't have any guilty look on their faces for waking the whole world up!! The trigger of their last three records was the same, i.e. smoking!! Kanasai eh!! Annoying dao~ Go smoke their heads off la, stupiak!!

According to moody + cranky + sleepwalking firemen, the fire alarm this time round was triggered when those stupiak ang mohs were "cooking dinner". HUH??! What?!! Dinner at 4:50a.m. are u kidding me?!!

Aiya.. maybe they were trying to "cook" their lungs with the smoke from their cigarettes la WTH...

By the way, the fire alarm at 5:45a.m. few days ago was caused by our fren who was cooking breakfast in preparation of GP Visit. Of course it's forgiveable!! Plus, breakfast makes so much more sense than dinner, okay?!! And our fren went around apologizing for the accident..

BUT, our fren was scolded "Don't u know how to close the door?" while these stupiak chimneys of G-3 were spared!! How unfair!! Now only ang mohs can trigger fire alarm at God-forbidden-hours but Chinese can't lar??!!! DUH!!! Ciak sai!!!

Some ppl are simply jerks..

fIrE aLArM @ 5:45A.M.!!

Whoa!! This is seriously something worth mentioning!!

Just came back to my room from the freezing cold outside. We just had a fire alarm drill at 5.45A.M.!! Look closely, it's 5:45A.M.!!!!!

It practically woke almost everyone up from their sleep, except for some of us who were still up doing CPP, and some of us who had already woken up.

Well, surprisingly, I belong to the latter category this time!! Cause I happily K.O.-ed at 10p.m. last night. Supposed to wake up at 12a.m. to do my CPP one lar, but when I opened my eyes, it was already 5a.m. liao.. SHOOT!! (T_T)

Those who were still sleeping apparently got very cranky la.. So I happily raised their cranky-ness level by letting my Ah Rein to flirt with them (specifically referring to Chua Ming & Vermicelli Law).. XD Even sexy firemen also appeared cranky eh!! XP

And hor, I realized that ang mohs are seriously CHEE SIN one.. Apparently they hadn't slept yet cause they were still in their outdoor attire & stuffs. And guess what they were doing? DRINKING!!! Oh my gosh.. They still had that wine in their hands when they came out!!! ALCOHOLIC dao!!!!!

Seems like the drill was caused by my neighbour's adjoining unit. According to sexy firemen, they forgot to close the fire door when cooking, which I don't really think so lar, cause we did smell and see smoke coming out of their kitchen's window. Will update u kepo ppl as soon as I get to "pat" something from my neighbours. Kakaka... =P

hApPY Le@P DaY!!!!!~~~

Yo yo!! It's the leap day today!! Once in every four years eh!! Decided that I must write something on such a special day for remembrance sake. Keke... =)

So, it's the 29th of February, 2008 and I am here in Glasgow!!

I woke up in the morning, regretting for pigging early again last night, having written not even a single word for my CPP and Pharmcare essays... GAH!!! (-__-"')

Then I attended "Gene Therapy" lectures delivered by Dr. Christine Dufes. Was expecting Prof. Clive Wilson but he was off to Budapest dy.. Shiok-nye~ Anyway, I got totally inspired by Dr. Dufes cause she's so geng!!!!! So young yet she's already lead so many gene therapy studies & published so many research articles!! She even discovered a new gene delivery system which is more efficacious but less toxic than the best one available on the market now!! Like whoa!! (Know Xin will be very pleased to see this. Ish.. MY Dr. Fiona is very geng as well lor, okay?!!)

Then, for the FIRST TIME in my entire life, I borrowed journals from the library!! 4 altogether somemore eh!! NERD dao~~ XP Thanks to my "exotic" CPP topic la!! "Alcoholic Liver Disease + Hepatic Encephalopathy" wth... Limited electronic journals (that our ciplak univesity has subscribe to) focus on these la.. Bo pian... And THANK GOD I saw Geok Ying (role model!!) in the library!! If not I seriously had no idea where to look for, and how to borrow a journal lor... XP Final year pharmacy student I am, huh? Anyways, am still proud of my "great" achievement today lor.. XD Don't laugh at me lar, u nerdy ppl...

At night, me & housies made wan tan in celebration of the leap day!! Uh hum... Actually just an excuse to binge eat la.. But well, the wan tan was AWESOME, can??!!! And mind you, we took it with chili padi somemore!! OOSH!!~ Except for Su Ann who doesn't like pork, we took TWELVE wan tan EACH, okay????? Stomach bloated like I'm pregnant with a 5 months old baby... *burp* XD Pure bliss, pure bliss ah... =P

Think am gonna spend the rest of my "leap night" looking into sien journal articles. What an "exciting" way to "celebrate" the leap day, man!! XP Haiyo.. Ate until too full liao la.. Blood all diverted to the GI tract liao.. Brain not functioning dy lar.. Parasympathetic dao~ XP Can I go read some manga or watch some movies first?? XD

才发现我竟然还没有在这个重大的节日里恭祝各位新年快乐！！哎哟，挺久没有我废废的消息了，真是对不起哪！！XP

最近比较忙嘛。。忙着虚度人生，忙着发呆，忙着无聊，忙着大吃特吃，忙着两眼直视窗口什么都不做，忙着做猪，忙着找免费的琴谱，忙着上 Youtube 看 Aly & AJ 和 KT Tunstall，忙着找 Lily Allen 还有 Keane 的歌，忙着关心陈冠希终于承认他是变态佬了没，忙着关心阿娇终于放弃扮纯情女了没，忙着和朋友一起搞“爬地”，忙着看帅哥。。哇佬！还真是忙得不可开交啊！XD

哈呐，哈呐。。没有啦！我的生活还没有潦倒到这种程度啦。至少我搞掂了 Research Project 的 Method 还有今天的 Pharmcare presentation，虽然被教授狂炸问题，还在我的feedback栏里说我太罗嗦了。。。OUCH!!!!! 伤心。。（T_T）

在我投入 Biopharm5 的怀抱之前（拜一考试哪，sien。。），决定写点应节的东西，而且还要用华语来写，因为这毕竟是华人的农历新年嘛！！ ＝D

I AM SO STOKED!!!!!~~~

It really did snow all night long!!!!!

The snow had acccumulated on the grass, on the car, on the tree, on the roof, on basically everything in sight!!!!! Woot Woot~~ XD

Woke up to Su Ann's & Xin Yin's morning call, blurred to the max, thought I was running late for class, then was told to look out of the window, and I got totally stunned by what I saw!!! SNOW EVERYWHERE!!! Man, I couldn't believe my eyes!!! Woohoo~~

Immediately put on my GAP char siew winter jacket on top of my pajama and ran out with housemates into the snow, without brushing teeth, without washing face, and without combing hair. Mua hahaha... Who cares???!! XP

And then we camwhored like nobody's business. Bwa hahaha... Fhern, Wai Meng, Ah Cia, Bao & Leah were already there. We made snowballs to throw at each other and got our fingers completely numbed. Then we cuddled around and put our hands into each other's pocket, chanting "Aww.. So cold.. So cold...". But when we could feel our fingers again, we started yet another round of snowball fight and repeated the entire process.. XD It was still snowing. So I opened my mouth wide wide while jumping up & down, like those Chinese style zombies in Hongkee movies if u get what I mean, and tried to get the snow down my throat. Wakakaka...

Yeah yeah, we are a whole bunch of idiots and I am undoubtedly the most idiotic one. Stupiak Malaysians never see snow before, but so what?? We had fun... Loads of fun, in fact... So, just sue me if u are unhappy!! Mua hahaha... =P

It's finally snowing here in Glasgow!!! With snow flakes somemore!!!!! AAAAAHHH~~~ Wish my cheap skate camera phone was good enough to snap a "Micro" photo of the snow flake... But well, am contented enough already... ^^

And yup!! I tasted snow + snow flake this time!! FYI, they are tasteless as well... XD I know I'm an idiot. Sue me if u wish... =P

Aaaaahhh!!! Experienced hail (ice storm) for the first time in my entire life!!! Totally stoked!!!!! XD

Reached my hand out of the window to feel it, and it really hurt!!! Oosh!! Captured a few biji and put them into mouth to taste somemore!!! Wakakaka... No, I wasn't hungry, and of course it was tasteless lah!! Duh!!! =P

First sleet, then hail. Now can I have some heavy snow, PLUUUREEESSSSS~~ =D

Another homey day!

Didn't go anywhere. Just stayed home to do some packing and research for Milan. Tired + wanted to Skype with parents, I didn't follow Wern they all in bringing Xing Wu De to look see look see around the Glasgow University area. Once again, SORRY!!!!!~~~ XP

At night, I did join their potluck dinner though. Me and Wen Jiun & co. cooked Nam Yu fried pork again, using the leftover Nam Yu and pork from the other day. Jiun didn't know that the pork was already seasoned and she happily marinated them with 6 pieces of Nam Yu somemore. In the end, our Nam Yu pork became Nam Yu bacon... (-_-") Super salty, man!! Even Lau Wee Yeaw also said it's a little bit salty... Haha... Sorry, ppl!! =P

Actually we claimed that the Nam Yu bacon was Nam Yu chicken in an attempt to lure Khang Wern to tasting it. But her taste bud was very geng, man! She knew it was pork the moment she put it into her mouth and rushed to the rubbish bin to throw it back out... Gagal!!~ =P

Also, I made 2 pieces of coffee chicken under the request of Lu Yi, and in compensation for not accompanying Xing Wu De out, of which Husky Hee Sheong (after coming back from Kiruna, he starts thinking that he's a husky, rather than a human being. Must be the cold weather that has got his brain damaged... Sigh...) happily asked if it was shao1 jiao1 (burnt) chicken... Grrrr... Haha... Anyway, I cooked the shao jiao chicken at Wen Jiun's place. Not very used to using the wok and stove at her place. So I overcooked the chicken in the end. The flesh was a little bit hard. Haha... Paisay!!~ =P

Came back home after that to continue some packing for Italy + Paris trip.

And this will be my last post till I am back from vacation! Just realize that I haven't blogged a bout my trip to Germany and Czech last summer yet. Mua haha... What a lazy blogger I am! =P

Housemates, welcome back from Kiruna (even though I won't be around already by the time u all read this post.. haha..)!! Have a safe trip to London, alright? Don't miss me too much ya!! Wakakaka.. =P

Huhu... Did nothing much basically... Woke up in the morning then started doing aunty stuffs like wiped the shoes la, did laundry la, packed this packed that la, and etc. in preparation of my Italy + Paris trip on the 23rd. Been out for the last few days, so didn't really have time for all these aunty stuffs lor... That's also why I didn't follow Wern, Yi Jie, and Lu Yi out to pick Xing Wu De (Moo Moo Liang) up from Buchanan bus station when he arrived at about 1230p.m. Paisay paisay.. Am feeling kinda guilty de actually... XP

Saw them coming back while I was on the way to the laundry room to dry my clothes. I was in t-shirt and short pants only. Managed to "Hello Hello" for a while before I got frozen. Haha... Then, they brought him out to go jalan-jalan around Buchanan + Argyle area while I stayed back home to dry my clothes (aunty dao!!) and do some research for our trip to Milan (at least this one sounds posh... kaka...).

Planned to have early dinner together at The Goose at 4p.m. but because of the cold weather outside, all of them were famished at 3p.m. and asked to bring forward our dinner appointment. Note, it's DINNER, ok? At 3 o'clock in the afternoon!!!!! Gosh... Haha.. Most probably because it was a Friday, all the bars were so crowded, man! We couldn't find enough seats in The Goose and after much hassles in looking around, we finally ended up in Counting House. Xing Wu De was super duper quiet over the dinner. Jet lag? Or maybe because there was a stranger, i.e. Lu Yi and so he was a wee bit shy shy?? Kakaka.. XD

Went walking around George Square area after dinner. Freezing cold wei... Nearly everyone couldn't stand the coldness (I found it rather OK though... receptors rosak liao maybe.. haha...) and we headed home after half an hour of merayau-rayau.

Then we started making tang yuan in J7, the kandang for Moo Moo throughout his stay in Glasgow. XD We mashed sweet potatoes and mixed them together with the glutinuous rice flour. Also, we used red beans paste and mashed sweet potatoes as the inti for some of the tang yuan. Creative leh? XD And thanks to Yi Jie who couldn't estimate the amount of flour and water to add, the glutinous rice ball just kept turning bigger and bigger till in the end, all of us suffered from tang-yuan-overdose. But it was quite fun la... All of us had a great time... =)

Oh ya oh ya!! We made one special Nutella tang yuan as well!! We said that whoever was lucky enough to get this Nutella tang yuan would be the first to get married among us!! And guess what? Miss Hu Yi Jie was the honoured one!! Wakakaka... She panickly passed the tang yuan to Xing Wu De, who in turn broke the good news to us. Xing Wu De was forced to swallow down the Nutella tang yuan by Miss Hu Yi Jie. Hmm... So, I came out with this conclusion that, because they shared the lucky Nutella tang yuan, both of them will get married early, God knows maybe to each other, and then live happily ever after???!! Mua hahahhaa.... XD

Came home after that to continue with my "research" and zzZzz.... By the way, I got a Christmas card from Yeang Wee and Gordon. What a surprise! Hehe... Thanks so much buttockS!! XD And Gordon Pang, any more lame ah u? XP

Whoa!! CHAR SIEW to the max!!!

Woke up around 8a.m. as I ter-K.O. early the night before. Replied family mail, had heavy breakfast (2 pieces of bread with peanut butter spread + cereal + milk), then went to the bank to withdraw money and gave to Ah Bao so that she could help me to exchange them into Euros. Met up with Joey, Ja Yee, Choy Leng, Leah, Xin Hui, and Alicia after that to go for my very first movie here in Glasgow, i.e. Enchanted!! =D

One thing weird about Glaswegian cinema is that it's based on a free seating basis!! So no matter how early u buy ur movie ticket, u are not necessarily guaranteed to a good seat. Another thing different from Malaysian's cinema is that instead of switching on the air conditioner, they switched on the heater. Haha.. of course la! Wanna freeze to death meh? Actually hor, even though this Cineworld is known as the World's Tallest Cinema (note, it's not that tall as well after all.. just 5 or 6 storeys maybe?), I honestly still think our very own Midvalley GSC is so much bigger and looks so much more grand comparatively lo.. Most probably because ppl here are not as crazy as us over movies ba. When I told my IPL group members that I so wanna watch The Golden Compass, they actually paused for a few seconds before figuring out what the heck was that. I was like, "Nicole Kidman!!! Daniel Craig!!! AAHhh~" but they just stared blankly back at me... DUH!!!!! Potong stim betul!! (><")

Ok ok.. Back to Enchanted... As it was a weekday, basically there were only 7 of us plus around 5 ang mohs in the big theatre.. So we lauged our heads off like nobody's business la. Kakaka... =P It was quite a nice show. The soundtracks were very catchy, too. Xin Hui and Ah Cia got addicted to the song "How Do You Know" after the show. Haha.. The storyline was quite a brilliant one, even though it's not all that logical la. Christmas movie ma... Just sheer blast of happiness. But I am not saying that it's a bad thing though. At least I enjoyed the show. Felt really happy and cheerful after watching. Hehe.. Think Amy Adams looks a lot like Kirsten Dunst la. Haha.. And she's pretty! =) Loves her purplish night gown. Aww.. Santa Claus, can I have it as my Christmas present, pls? XD

Went shopping around after that to continue my hunt for a winter jacket. Well, I should say, to give myself more excuses to char siew the GAP jacket and eliminate the rest. Not water resistant la, not thick enough la, not stylish enough la, for this price I would rather spend a wee bit more to get the GAP one la, and etc. So, I finally managed to convince myself that there was NO better bargain out there. I have all the reasons to char siew the GAP jacket. Kakaka... Spent such a long time in the fitting room choosing the colour. In the end, I decided to go for the white colour one. I know it gets dirty easily la, but I still find it the most adorable leh... Dun wanna betray my heart.. Kaka.. XD Hence, I paid up, officially turning myself into a GAP girl again, then walked out of of the shop with a super big bag with super big "GAP"s printed on it, and looked proudly around at all the passerby.

"YUP!! It's GAP!!!!! Rich Asian I am, huh? Mua hahahha..." XP

Came back home after that to become tukang masak. Haha.. Cooked myself chicken with Dopiaza cooking sauce and fried round lettuce for dinner. Hehe.. Yummy yummy... =P

Went over to Wern's place later on at night for trip's discussion again. Booked our tickets to Paris Disneyland!! Woohoo~ 32 pounds per person for a "1 day 1 park" ticket, man!! But I seriously don't mind because it's Disneyland!!!!! Am so gonna get myself a Disney cartoon character's soft toy!! Wakakaka... Hopefully I will still have enough Euros left by that time to char siew la.. Eurgh... And Chua Ah Ming, stop despising me!!! Soft toys ARE cute, OK???!! XP

By the way, I bought myself TREsemme hairmask as well. Seriously tak boleh tahan my hair getting all tangled up after shampooing. The stupiak dry weather la... Been losing so much hair lately wei... Will become a botak soon if I choose to ignore it lor... Grrrr....

Aahhh... I am feeling like a piece of big fat char siew with oil dripping down at the moment... *drip drip drip...* XD
